# 9.8 - Future Privacy Research Roadmap

The following enhancements are under active research but remain **out-of-scope for v1.0** due to performance overhead and consensus complexity:

* **Post-Quantum Zero-Knowledge Proofs:** PQ-SNARKs/STARKs for confidential transactions that hide amounts while preserving compliance verification.
* **Stealth Addresses:** One-time public keys derived from long-term identifiers to reduce transaction-graph linkability.
* **Selective-Disclosure Claim Formats:** BBS+-equivalent post-quantum signatures enabling users to prove claim possession without revealing issuer identity or metadata.
